1) Improve pediatric occupational therapy service outcomes by being able to identify clients’ and practitioners’ cultural and contextual backgrounds
2) Identify cultural values that differentiate various cultures of the world today in order to promote cultural awareness within the scope of pediatric occupational therapy
3) Demonstrate knowledge of how to bridge a disconnect in values and beliefs of the OT and the client and apply new techniques to improve the quality of service
