6:16 pm-6:30 pm Identify and evaluate current evidence-based practices for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and Multiple Sclerosis.

6:31-6:55pm  Advocate and Apply knowledge to improve occupational therapy intervention for autoimmune diseases

Objectives:

• Analyze the role of occupational therapy in treatment of autoimmune diseases
• Identify and evaluate current evidence-based practices for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes,  Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and Multiple Sclerosis.
• Will gain knowledge on the impact from the lived experiences of people with autoimmune disease
• Be able to advocate for clients with autoimmune diseases
• Apply knowledge to improve occupational therapy intervention for autoimmune diseases
