ESCRIPTION: An estimated 88% of victims reported encountering a healthcare
professional during their trafficking experience. From acute to outpatient
settings, professionals should be able to assess their clients for a curre
nt history of human trafficking and be prepared to respond with trauma-info
rmed interventions and with the appropriate resources.
