Upper Extremity Treatment Continuum Within Occupation-based Practice Post-stroke 
Presenter: Vinita Menon-Jobes, OTD, OT, C/NDT

Lecture Description: This presentation explores the Neuro-Developmental Therapy (NDT) Upper Extremity Treatment Continuum and its application in activating the UE within patient-centered, occupation-based stroke rehabilitation. The session will highlight the relationship between current evidence and the NDT "Chain Continuum," and will foster professional reasoning to guide appropriate sequencing for UE activation.

Learner Objectives:
By the end of the presentation the learner will be able to: Objective 

  1. Analyze the relationship between current evidence and the NDT “Chain Continuum” model for UE activation.
  2. Demonstrate clinical reasoning in sequencing interventions for upper extremity activation within occupation-based tasks.
