Course Description: This course will explain that OTs play a key role in evaluating and supporting older drivers’ safety and independence. Participants will discuss demographic data showing the rise in older drivers and implications for health professionals.
Learner Objectives: 1. Understand how aging affects driving 2. Identify OT roles in driver assessment and intervention 3. Discuss ethical and legal considerations 4. Explore strategies for driving retirement and transition
