Learner Objectives:
- Learners will be able to describe the difference between an Acquired Brain Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury.
- Learners will be able to list types of premorbid and post morbid complications that affect the recovery following a TBI.
- Learners will be able to describe various treatment considerations for the recovery and treatment of a TBI patient.
Short Abstract: Includes an overview of types of brain injuries, detailed neuroanatomy review, review of consequences of injury, occupational implications of TBI in different ages, discussion of premorbid /post complications following a TBI, and treatment considerations.
