Course Description An hour introductory course on fabricating orthotics for common hand injuries. Briefly discuss how orthotics are used for these injuries, the materials that are available, and how to fabricate one.
Learner Objectives: Identify common hand and finger injuries- Identify use and practice purpose of orthotics and biomechanics involved Identify types of orthotics and precautions/contraindications for orthotic use Demonstrate 2 orthotics using specific materials
