Community Integration- Not Just for Community-Based Practice Occupational therapists can prevent and address concerns with community integration across the lifespan and in every practice setting. Knowledge of evidence based practice can put occupational therapists in a position to improve health outcomes at the individual, societal, and policy-making level. As a result of attending this CEU event, attendee will be able to: Speakers: Amber Richardson OTR, CHES: Amber Richardson is an occupational therapist who currently works in acute care and also PRN in 2 other settings. She uses her certification as a Health Education Specialist to facilitate applications of clinical interventions to community involvement and she serves on the accessibility and inclusion committee in her community.
