GCED OT Month 2022 Events and Activities

We are excited to offer some activities and a CEU event for OT Month! Below you will find all the details.

 CEU Event

Topic: The Art of Sexuality and Disability

When: April 19, 2022 
Time: 7p – 8:30p 
CEUs: 1.5 

Student Challenge

We would like to challenge each OT and OTA program in the Gulf Coast East District to compete to see who can collect the most toiletries.  

When: April 4th – April 30th

Items: Toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, soap, hand sanitizer, combs, brushes, etc.

Items will be collected by a GCED officer and tallied on April 30th. The OT or OTA program that collects the most items decides where to donate the items. If your program would like to participate, send an email to: [email protected] so we can communicate with you regarding pick-up of donated toiletry items.

Painting with OT Practitioners: OT Month Social Hour

Join your fellow OT Practitioners and students by Painting with a Twist. There are two locations to choose from as well as a virtual option. Snacks and beverages can be brought to locations. All information is listed below.

When: April 30, 2022
Where: Painting with a Twist
Time: 1p-3p at both locations listed below. Please register ahead of time using the link listed for the specific location.
