During years when the Texas Legislature is in session,
TOTA holds a "Day at the Capitol" for anyone interested in getting
involved in the legislative process. The day begins with an instructional
meeting at the Texas Hospital Association Building, site of the TOTA
office. The meeting is followed by a trip to the Capitol Building,
where attendees visit the offices of their individual State Senators
and Representatives with the purpose of advocating for OT.
The 80th Legislative Session will take place in 2007.
The Day at the Capitol will occur on March 6, 2007 starting at 10:00 AM at the
TOTA offices located at 6225 Highway 290 East, Austin, Texas 78723-1075
in the Texas Hospital Association Building. Please RSVP to Mary Hennigan
