A 1.2 CEUs (12 contact-hours)workshop.
Evaluate and treat Spanish speaking clients with confidence!
The purpose of this workshop is to learn how to integrate into therapists’ practice relevant Spanish medical vocabulary, sentences and phrases to provide immediate care to a patient.
In this workshop you will learn:
Spanish salutations and introductions
Vocabulary for body systems(the musculoskeletal, nervous, cardiovascular and respiratory systems) Common phrases for evaluation and treatment(including complementary therapies)
Common phrases for precaution and safety
Common phrases for patient and caregiver education
Therapists will have an opportunity to practice using medical Spanish through exercises, mini-dialogues, and case studies.
